I have been a licensed massage therapist for over 20 years. My interest in the human body started at a very young age, when I wondered how each body part interacted with others for optimal health. I am fascinated by how the body compensates for injuries and how integrating movement, with good form and breath-work, changes things in the body. My last name, Vivo, in Spanish means alive/live, my goal is to bring people back to their lives and to the things they love to do, without pain.

I started my professional career with a degree from The Swedish Institute College of Health Science in New York City. In addition, I am proficient in various highly-effective techniques and concepts, including: Active Release Technique (ART), Anatomy In Motion (AIM), Cupping/Gua Sha, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Immaculate Discretion (ID) Core, NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). I have focused much time and energy into developing a style that merges all these different techniques for a well-rounded and cutting edge approach.

My mission is to optimize each client’s health so you can live – run, throw, lift, stand, play with your kids, or whatever living means for you – without pain.

In my extensive experience, I have learned that ‘tight’ tissues are often the result of underlying stability issues somewhere else in the body. Together, we will hunt down the true source of your discomfort and I will give you the tools to get yourself out of pain and into your life!

In my off hours, I love to volunteer in my community as much as possible. I also enjoy working out, traveling, biking, and spending time at home with my husband and our cat.
